PythFeeds is a market dashboard for crypto and related assets: live rankings and charts, swaps and DEX tooling, calendars, analytics, portfolio views, and AI helpers. It combines CoinGecko-style context with Pyth Network prices pulled from Hermes (crypto plus FX, metals, commodities, and equities where mapped) so spot values follow oracle updates for fresher, more transparent pricing than exchange aggregates alone.

What It Does

PythFeeds Traders and researchers deserve better than juggling five tabs for price data. PythFeeds pulls crypto, equities, FX, metals, and commodities into one fast, terminal-style app, live tables, charts, swap views, macro calendars, and AI helpers, all in one place.

What makes it different: every price is layered with Pyth oracle data from Hermes, so you’re not just seeing a CoinGecko number , you’re seeing what the oracle actually says, with confidence intervals and feed freshness baked in.

The /feeds explorer is the heart of it. Browse the full Pyth oracle surface ,search by asset, filter by staleness, inspect confidence bands, copy feed IDs, watch prices stream live. It’s the oracle layer made browsable, not just a coin list with a Pyth badge slapped on.

Framework / language (your MERN-style label fits, with a twist)
Node.js, Express (REST API, SSE, rate limiting, compression), Next.js (App Router) + React + TypeScript, Tailwind CSS (v4). UI also uses MUI, Radix, Motion, Recharts / Lightweight Charts, Three.js / React Three Fiber where used. JavaScript on the backend (not Python).
Data / APIs
MySQL (mysql2) for optional persistence; node-cache for in-memory caching. External data: Pyth Hermes (@pythnetwork/hermes-client), CoinGecko, RSS (rss-parser), plus routes for Jupiter / Raydium / Dexscreener / Pump.fun style integrations as implemented in the server.
Blockchain (if applicable)
Solana: @solana/web3.js and wallet-adapter (React) for wallet connect; Pyth Express Relay (@pythnetwork/express-relay-js) on the frontend for relay-related flows.
Agent framework (if applicable)
No LangChain / similar agent framework in package.json. AI uses Google Generative AI (@google/generative-ai → Gemini) for chat, briefs, and related /api/ai/* features on the Express server.
