Q2 2025: Pyth Core Onchain Fees

Open on dev-forum →Back to forum

This post announces the approved fee update for Pyth Core for Q2 2025, following the passage of OP-PIP-111 by the Pythian Council.

Background

Pyth Core (Price Feeds | Pyth Developer Hub) provides real-time price feeds to smart contracts across many blockchains. Update fees are denominated in each chain’s native token and calibrated to maintain a consistent target of ~$0.01 USD per price update. Fees are reviewed quarterly to account for native token price movements.

Q2 2025 Updates

Fees have been adjusted on select chains where native token prices have moved materially since Q1. For the full breakdown, see OP-PIP-111.

Note for Integrators

If your integration hardcodes the fee value, you should update it. The recommended approach is to call getUpdateFee() on-chain to always fetch the correct amount dynamically.
