Q2 2025: Pyth Entropy Onchain Fees

Open on dev-forum →Back to forum

This post announces the approved fee update for Pyth Entropy for Q2 2025, following the passage of OP-PIP-112 by the Pythian Council.

Background

Pyth Entropy (Entropy | Pyth Developer Hub) provides secure on-chain randomness. The total cost of an Entropy request combines a protocol fee (set by the Pyth contract) and a provider service fee (set by the provider to cover fulfillment gas costs). Fees are reviewed quarterly.

Q2 2025 Updates

Most chain fees are unchanged. Entropy is now also supported on 4 new chains: Injective, LightLink Phoenix, Sei, and Unichain. For the full breakdown, see OP-PIP-112.

Note for Integrators

No integration changes are required for existing Entropy consumers.
