Discourse Trust Level Explainer

The Trust Levels within Discourse are implemented in this Pyth DAO Forum to achieve the highest quality possible discussion level.

Discourse Levels range from 0 to 4 and have been mostly designed following the Discourse Best Practices available here.

If you’d have any issue or feedback on the current Trust Levels set up and according rules, please post below with as much details as possible as this will help further fine tune the rules and set up.

  • Trust Level 0: New

Users at trust level 0 can: browse Categories and read Topics already available on the Pyth DAO Forum.

Get to trust level 1 by entering new topics, reading posts and spending some time on the forum.

  • Trust Level 1: New

Users at trust level 1 can: Reply to existing Topics and Discussions.

Get to trust level 2 by entering new topics, reading, replying to, or liking posts, and spending some time on the forum.

  • Trust Level 2: Member

Users at trust level 2 can: Create new Topics in existing Categories

Get to trust level 3 by entering new topics, reading, replying to, or liking posts, and spending some time on the forum.

  • Trust Level 3: Regular

Users at trust level 3 can: Flag any topic or message from any user for not adhering to the Pyth DAO Forum standard.

Trust Level 4 are manually awarded and will be given out to those who keep on delivering Level 3 items as well as a flag content history.

  • Trust Level 4: Leader

Users at trust level 4 can: Close and archive Topics
