Abstract
This proposal aims to off-board (destake) 7 validators from Pythnet. This is the 1st of a few upcoming proposals for validator off-boarding.
Rationale
As part of an ongoing effort to improve Pythnet reliability and reduce the overhead costs to data publishers, 7 validators are being off-boarded.
This follows the OP-PIP-69 where 16 additional validators had been on-boarded - those being subsidized by the Pyth Data Association.
Description
Pythnet, Pyth’s appchain, is governed by the Pythian Council, which manages stake accounts and validator roles.
An increased amount of publishers/validators bring additional robustness to the network and further decentralization.
