Community Library

The Pyth Community Library is where Pythians publish research, analysis, explainers, and comparisons about oracle infrastructure, financial data markets, and the Pyth ecosystem.

This isn’t a marketing channel. It’s a knowledge base built by the community, for the community — and for anyone trying to understand how financial data actually works onchain.

What belongs here:

  • Deep dives into how specific asset classes are priced (gold, oil, equities, FX, crypto)
  • Architecture comparisons between oracle models (pull vs push, first-party vs third-party)
  • Analysis of Pyth’s revenue streams, governance mechanics, and tokenomics
  • Ecosystem case studies — how protocols integrate and use Pyth price feeds
  • Educational explainers on market structure, data infrastructure, and DeFi mechanics
  • Geopolitical and macro analysis relevant to decentralized data infrastructure
  • Asset Info Packs — methodology deep-dives on how Pyth tracks specific markets

Guidelines:

  • Facts mode. Lead with data, not hype. Include sources.
  • No hopium. If you can’t defend it against a smart skeptic, don’t post it.
  • The Alcohol Standard applies — if someone at a bar can’t follow your argument, simplify it.
  • Your voice, your angle. Community Council provides the facts and frameworks. Pythians provide the perspective.
  • Comparisons to other oracles, Bloomberg, Reuters etc. are encouraged — keep them architectural and factual, not tribal.
